As a kid, I grew up in a country where the political system imposed all kind of shortages on its people. Everyone had to be very creative, to find ways to invent, to recycle, to combine, in order to have the goods that were missing. These years thought me, how to do anything from almost nothing.

At home, I was surrounded by art in its different forms: paintings, ceramics, music, and by their creators and interpreters. Nobody was surprised by my decision to apply to the Arts Academy, from where I graduated in 1997 with a BA in visual arts, with a concentration in photography.

Ever since then I earned my living by being a web designer, a graphic designer, a photographer, or an art teacher. Through the companies I worked for, I had the opportunity to have a creative role in projects, that were commissioned by customers, such as: The National Geographic Channel, Sir Arthur C. Clarke, Dr. Ho, Ladbrokes PLC and Sohu.
